pspell_config_runtogether()함수는 pspell_new_config()함수를 호출하기 전에 설정되어야 합니다. 이 함수는 연결된 단어를 정당한 합성어로 고려할지를 결정합니다. 즉, 말하자면 두 단어 사이에 공백(space)이 있어야 할지라도 "thecat"은 정당한 합성어가 됩니다. 이 설정을 바꾸면 pspell_check()함수에 의해 반환되는 결과값에만 영향을 미칩니다. pspell_suggest()함수는 여전히 추천단어를 반환합니다.
