Describes the kind of window.
Value | Symbolic name | Description |
| Â Â 0 | Gdk::WINDOW_ROOT | Root window; this window has no parent, covers the entire screen, and is created by the window system. |
| Â Â 1 | Gdk::WINDOW_TOPLEVEL | Toplevel window (used to implement GtkWindow). |
| Â Â 2 | Gdk::WINDOW_CHILD | Child window (used to implement e.g. GtkButton). |
| Â Â 3 | Gdk::WINDOW_DIALOG | Useless/deprecated compatibility type. |
| Â Â 4 | Gdk::WINDOW_TEMP | Override redirect temporary window (used to implement GtkMenu). |
