chown — Changes file owner
Description

Attempts to change the owner of the file filename to user user . Only the superuser may change the owner of a file.
Parameters
- filename

Path to the file.
- user
-
A user name or number.
Return values
Palauttaa TRUE onnistuessaan, muutoin FALSE.

Note: Tämä functio ei toimi etätiedostojen kanssa koska tarkasteltavan tiedoston täytyy olla saatavilla palvelimen tiedostojärjestelmän kautta.
Note: Kun safe mode on käytössä, PHP tarkistaa onko käsiteltävien tiedostojen/hakemistojen UID sama kuin ajettavalla skriptillä.
