iconv_substr
Opis
string iconv_substr ( string str, int offset [, int length [, string charset]] )
Cuts a portion of str specified by the
offset and length parameters.
Parametry
strThe original string.
offsetIf
offsetis non-negative, iconv_substr() cuts the portion out ofstrbeginning atoffset'th character, counting from zero.If
offsetis negative, iconv_substr() cuts out the portion beginning at the position, offsetcharacters away from the end ofstr.lengthIf
lengthis given and is positive, the return value will contain at mostlengthcharacters of the portion that begins atoffset(depending on the length ofstring). If negative
lengthis passed, iconv_substr() cuts the portion out ofstrfrom theoffset'th character up to the character that islengthcharacters away from the end of the string. In caseoffsetis also negative, the start position is calculated beforehand according to the rule explained above.charsetIf
charsetparameter is omitted, stringare assumed to be encoded in iconv.internal_charset.Note that
offsetandlengthparameters are always deemed to represent offsets that are calculated on the basis of the character set determined bycharset, whilst the counterpart substr() always takes these for byte offsets.
Zwracane wartości
